Shalom,

We have just posted a Holocaust rememberence on both Yeshua Ha'Mashiach Ministries& Congregation Beth Ha'Mashiach web sites. The pictures are graphic, but help us remember and "Never Forget"! This can never be allowed to happen again! Blessings.

If you go to my website you will see that I believe in predestination. I am part Jewish by birth and raised as a Gentile from 3 months. I believe that all things happen according to the will of the Lord. That does not excuse the doers of evil, such as Hitler, who will reap their just rewards. However, my view illustrates that there are few saved by sovereign grace of God. That there is a difference between the Old and New Covenants, that a true testimony of Christ includes both these acknowledgements. I am not here to take people away from their culture, but I am here to make it clear that your cultural preferences as messianic Jews are not commands of scripture. Paul is clear on this. One man esteems one day above another, one man esteems every day alike! Brothers who disagree about days are not to judge each other. Anyway take a look at my website, and either post comments here, email me or post at my site. I am looking for fellowship from people who can understand my views. http://www.newcovenanttheology.com

I forgot one other point regarding living as a Jew and the place of Torah. This scripture also shows the true nature of Christian liberty: Paul says; "when I say that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "you are a Jew, yet you LIVE LIKE A GENTILE and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?" {Gal. 2:14) I believe that this scripture clarifies the situation and confronts Messianic Jews with a reality in Christ that is not reflected in their practice. Again, culterally you can keep your practices, but if Peter did not have to keep them, no one can make them into commands of the New Covenant.

Respectfully,

We who are Jews, continue to live as Messiah lived. We do not force others to keep our beliefs. Having said that, Sha'ul is mis translated, misquoted, and misused by most Churches. Paul can only be understood when compared with the other Talmidim. John makes it very clear that if someone says they love G-d, and do not keep Torah, they are a liar.

Messianic Beliefs are fully in concert with scrupture, we have no reason to change.
